The runners are ready. Running shoes have been bought, washed and aired. TCS 10 K is all set to be one of the grandest events this year! Keeping up to the reputation of being associated with the best events in the city, we were in charge of the promotional events of the Marathon. To fuel the excitement among Bangaloreans, we collaborated with Radio Mirchi to organize quick fitness competitions across the city. The competitions were conducted in popular malls and IT parks to throughout last week. During those fitness competitions we asked people to run on treadmill, do crunches etc and adjudged them based on their fitness levels. And, the catch of the event was the reward- a chance to run along with popular Kananda film actor Punneth Rajkumar! We chose 5 winners across Bangalore.
The reward of running next to a celebrity bought about an extremely enthusiastic audience who queued up to measure their fitness quotient. The idea of running for a cause close to their heart also had huge takers.
